Aileen Lewis

Aileen Lewis was an extra in many British films and television shows from the 1940s onwards.

Trouble in Store (1953) as Shopper

Barry Johns is the man standing at the front.

The Shakedown (1960) as Lady Walking Past the Tables (uncredited)

Not sure if this is Aileen in the foreground holding the fur coat over her arm, but this is what IMDB are saying at the moment.

Murder She Said (1961) as Train Passenger (uncredited)

Margaret Rutherford watches passengers in a passing train. Aileen Lewis is on the left, reading the paper.

While Nadia Pavlova is being strangled, Aileen Lewis sits in another compartment. This means that Aileen is in two places at once in the same scene to save on paying another extra. In 1961 no-one would notice.

Emergency (1962) Hotel Guest (uncredited)

Aileen walks into shot on the right making sure her face can be seen.

The Beauty Jungle (1964) as Talk of the Town Audience Member (uncredited)

Aileen Lewis is on the left in a black dress. In the foreground is Peter Ashmore.

And here she is in close up.
