DeleteNo, Cannot find out anything either. She was a looker.
ReplyDeleteShe married an Australian cricketer and migrated downunder. She starred in a couple of episodes of Australia's top-rating police drama 'Homicide' but perhaps retired from acting for motherhood.
ReplyDeleteHere is a story on her from the 1962 Australian Women's Weekly - http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article43202211
Thank you so much for giving us that information on Felicity. I'm glad she made a good marriage for herself down under and had a family. She would be 85 perhaps today funnily enough. I just watched one of her films which ended a fee minutes ago.
DeleteShe had three children with her husband, Dr George Thoms, who retired from cricket to become one of Australia's leading surgeons. Her last address I can find for her was in Anglesea, a coastal town in Victoria at the time of her husband's death (leukemia) in 2003.
ReplyDeleteIronically just watched her in an Interpol Calling episode set in Australia!
ReplyDeleteThe same episode was repeated on British TV on 4 November 2021
DeleteApparently her name was Felicity Myfanwy Young, which suggests some Welsh family connections.
ReplyDeleteJust saw her in Cover Girl Killer. Immensely personable and very likeable. I'm forever watching films on the Talking Pictures TV channel and then looking up long-lost actors and actresses on IMDB and Wikipedia. Suzanne Neve is another case in point (one of many).
