Vera Goulet

Vera Chochorovska and her mother escaped from communist Yugoslavia on their third attempt and reached Italy. A couple of years later they emigrated to the UK. Settling in London, Vera worked in theatre as a technician, stage hand and stage manager, amongst other jobs. She also did film and television extra work, and worked in PR for Theo Cowan, the legendary press agent. After a spell of owning and running an antique shop in the 1970s, Vera moved to America in 1980 and managed Robert Goulet's career and business enterprises for twenty-seven years. She produced and directed over 5000 concert performances of "An Evening With Robert Goulet" also "Robert Goulet The Man and His Music", for most of which she was married to him.
