    I only know him as the eldest son in the JONES FAMILY film series, which don't even get shown on TV anymore. In researching those actors, I found nearly nothing on Howell, but he apparently abandoned his wife and daughter to live a free life among the gays, and committed suicide at a relatively young age. Sad for all involved.
