Tanis Chandler

Born: 29 August 1924, Nantes, France
Died: 7 May 2006, Sedona, Arizona, USA

Tanis Chandler was the daughter of composer and musician Chandler Goldthwaite. Tanis was a child model for fashion catalogues and worked in radio from 1937. In 1943 she appeared in her first film, Higher and Higher for RKO. She also appeared in films for Warner Bros and MGM. Around the mid-1940s Tanis began to dub characters of American films into French. This she did in over 40 films.
