Margot Bryant was a British actress who appeared in films from the late 1940s and was later a regular guest star in television series. When the British soap opera 'Coronation Street' began in 1960, Margot got a major character role 'Minnie Caldwell' and appeared in almost 1000 episodes until her retirement in 1976.
