Cyril Fletcher was a comedian and actor who appeared many times on radio. He eventually also worked in early television and sometimes in films. He was married to comedy actress Betty Astell for over 60 years and the two worked together throughout their union. In the 1970s and 1980s he found fame once more with his monologues on the British television show 'That's Life'.
