  1. Thank you for featuring my mother on your blog. She will be 93 next month.

    1. Hi Mindee. Thank you for your comment. Does this mean her year of birth is wrong on my blog?

    2. actually you are right and I am wrong. Correction: she is 92. Thanks :-)

    3. Hi Mindee,

My name is Krystal, I’m a jitterbug dancer from London.I would like to say to you that your Mom has been a wonderful and huge influence for me and many dancers in my community. Unfortunately, there is not much information about her (in comparison to Ray Hirsch). As a female dancer in 2020, I found quite disrespectful the focus on male dancers of those days, however, I understand the mentally was like that. I believe she did an amazing and avant-garde work during her career, even harder than Ray as she was dancing almost always in high heels. For this reason, I would like to create a website/blog where to make a tribute to her and many other female dancers from the golden swing era. In this way, their work would be documented better and hopefully, future generations will always keep remembering all of them. It will be massively helpful if you could help me, as there is not much information or photos about her during her dancing career.
      My e-mail is
I hope you will be able to help.

      Best wishes, Krystal

    4. Hi Krystal. I know there's not much here, but use anything you want.
