Louise Beavers

Born: 8 March 1902, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
Died: 26 October 1962, Hollywood, California, USA

Louise Beavers made a career out of playing maids in many of the major films of the 1930s and 1940s. By the 1950s Louise had made the transition, like so many other aging actors of her time, to television. Her most successful role was in the title role of 'Beulah' in 1952, taking over from Hattie McDaniel.
