Nell O'Day

Born: 22 September 1909, Prairie Hill, Texas, USA
Died: 3 January 1989, Los Angeles, California, USA

Nell O'Day started as a dancer and appeared on stage as a child before landing a small role dancing in 'King of Jazz' (1930). She then turned more to acting and was quite successful but never a star. When she retired in 1945 she began a moderately successful writing career.
