Evalyn Knapp

Evalyn Knapp began her film career at the end of the silent era in 1929, appearing several short films. She was quickly elevated in the business to leading lady, starring alongside John Wayne, James Cagney and Edward G. Robinson. She was also successful in the 1933 film serial 'The Perils of Pauline'. Although a star for more than a decade, her popularity quickly faded and by the end of 1943 Evalyn Knapp's film career was over.
