Lyn Wilde

Born: 10 October 1922, East St. Louis, Illinois, USA
Died: 11 September 2016, Michigan City, Indiana, USA
 
Twin sister of Lee Wilde. Lyn and her sister Lee sang with Ray Noble and His Orchestra from 1940, touring the United States with the band for eleven months. During this period they appeared in a couple of short musicals that were specifically made for coin-operated jukebox devices. In 1942 they joined the Charlie Barnet Band, appearing in the film 'Juke Box Jenny'. In April 1942 the Wilde twins joined Bob Crosby and His Orchestra.

When Lee retired from performing in 1949, Lyn continued to make film apearances up until 1953.
