Peggy Shannon

Died: 11 May 1941, North Hollywood, California, USA

Peggy Shannon was a stage actress in New York in the 1920s, appearing in the Ziegfeld Follies as a chorus girl. By 1934 she was appearing on Broadway in 'Page Miss Glory' with James Stewart. Shannon's film career began in 1930 with appearances in short comedies. By 1931, she began starring in a run of B pictures alongside the likes of Richard Arlen, Clive Brook and Charles 'Buddy' Rogers.
