John Slater

Born: 22 August 1916, London, England
Died: 9 January 1975, London, England

A supporting player in films from the late 1930's. At the end of his career John Slater appeared in over 420 episodes of the long running British television series 'Z Cars'.

  1. The late John Slater died on Thursday January 9th 1975 at the age of 58 years and best known as Sgt Tom Stone in BBC-tv Police Drama Series,Z Cars from 1967-74.
    He appeared in Films & TV Shows alongside It Always Rains On Sunday,The Long Memory,Passport to Pimlico,Escape,Danger Man,The Pinky & Perky Show,Kelloggs Special K Adverts,The Night We Got The Bird & A Place To Go with Mike Sarne & George Sewell.
