Eddie Dunn

Born: 31 March 1896, Brooklyn, New York, USA
Died: 5 May 1951, Hollywood, California, USA
 
An actor, director and a gag man. In films since the 1910s, Eddie Dunn worked for Hal Roach studios alongside comedy greats such as Laurel and Hardy and Charley Chase. He can also be seen alongside W. C. Fields and Charlie Chaplin usually playing a straight man to their comedy. He also landed roles as tough characters owing to his stature and looks.
