Maudie May

Born: unknown
Died: unknown

This is another case of relying on the accuracy and information of others, in this case IMDB, who list the maid in 'Doubling in the Quickies', a 1932 comedy short from Sennett Studios, as Maudie May. This could be true. Many obscure black actresses appeared in predominantly white films as uncredited and undocumented, such was the racial problems of the times. However, there appears to be no mention of Maudie May in the 'black press' either, so it may be that this name is wrong. No other information can be found anywhere. Any help is gratefully appreciated.
