Stuart Holmes

Born: 10 March 1884, Chicago, Illinois, USA
Died: 29 December 1971, Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA

Stuart Holmes was a star of silent films. Although sound brought an end to his career as a leading man, Holmes seemed to be quite at ease with the supporting parts and walk-ons that he was subsequently given for the next 35 years. When he retired from films Stuart Holmes had made appearances in over 530 of them.

Not sure if this is Stuart Holmes on the right, but this is the best shot I can find.
