Margaret Lockwood

Born: 15 September 1916, Karachi, British India [now Karachi, Pakistan]
Died: 15 July 1990, Kensington, London, England 
 
Margaret Lockwood was a stage actress from an early age, appearing in major productions from the age of 12. Her film debut came in 1934 in Lorna Doone.

Margaret Lockwood was interviewed on this popular show by Bob Langley. She had been appearing at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre in the production 'Motherdear' playing the part of Princess Alexandra. This episode aired on 19th April 1980 on BBC1 and also featured Roy Kinnear and Julian Symons as guests with the usual musical contribution from house band Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen.
