Alan Dinehart

Born: 3 October 1889, St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
Died: 17 July 1944, Hollywood, California, USA

Alan Dinehart was a stage actor in repertory theatre who went on to appear in many Broadway productions from 1918 until 1941. Dinehart signed a contract with Fox in May 1931 and appeared in his first film 'The Brat' that same year going on to appear in more than 80 more before his death in 1944. He often played a villain and rose to the level of second lead or supporting role at his peak.
