Dan Palmquist

Dan Palmquist was the head of the editing department at Centron Corporation, a film production company specialising in short educational and instructional films. He also directed and acted in a few of them. When Herk Harvey, a film director at Centron, decided to make a dramatic feature he asked Dan to edit it. There was also an acting part with dialogue for Dan in the film as the gas station attendant.

Herk Harvey was a producer and director of short educational documentaries at Centron Corporation in Lawrence, Kansas. In 1961 he decided to see if he could raise some money locally to make a dramatic feature. The result was 'Carnival of Souls (1962)'. Herk often acted in his short films and couldn't let the chance go by to act in a feature.
