Mona Maris

Born: 7 November 1903, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Died: 23 March 1991, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Spoke four languages. Mona made films in Germany before she moved to Hollywood around 1925. Her transition to English speaking talkies was difficult because of her strong accent, so she was used in mainly Spanish language films. By the 1940s her English was very much improved and she started appearing as a co-star in many films.
