  1. I grew up with Lee and Dee. They lived next door to me on Osage St. in Inglewood Ca. We were young then. babes really. Their house was behind a duplex. Up front lived Margie and Claire Parker, and son Gene Parker. Sister Delores had moved out. I lived south and right next to the duplex. So played jax and helped Margie bake cookies at xmas time. Also helped Lee and Dee's gramma Baker bake cookies also as she lived on Nutwood and Osage St. Lee and Dee and their parents lived in that home also . We all went to Kelso Elementary, Crozier Jr Hi and Inglewood high. As the boys grew up Mom Aaker taught dance in Inglewood. The boys of course were taken to Hollywood for interviews and they were hired. They made bucks and moved to Regent Circle as time passed. Nice pool and nice home. Cars and lots of friends. Of course Atomic City was Lee's first movie. My Mom took me to see the show. Was so proud of Dee in Spin and Marty and other shows also. And Rin Tin Tin of course was big time and Spin and Marty was also. I wound up buying German Shep dogs throughout my life.
Sat in front of Peterson from the Donna Reed show one Friday night at the Sentinel Field in Inglewood for a football game. He was good friends with Lee. And so Lee lives in heaven now and Dee I am not sure. But he would be in his 80's. Was wondering if any relatives were still alive from these young guys. I know their grandma Baker and Margie and Claire and Gene Parker have all passed. Kelso School is passing also soon.
Not sure about Delores. Anywhoo our homes on Osage were taken down and apartments went up. Huge buildings. We were just about 1/2 mile from Hollywood Park, now SoFi Stadium. good old days - used to fly kites at the Park. Inglewood Country Club gone and now an event center I hear. That is along Prairie Street. Now Martin Luther drive or something like that. Times change for sure. Thanks for the memories . This old lady now enjoys thinking back to those good old days. Lee and Dee both were friendly to all and nice guys. If any one from the family is out there let me know. Cousin Denny Johnson lived in Regent Circle and he is kicking but Vince Webber is in heaven now I hear. Griffins around and not sure about Svendenson girls. Time has marched on. Thanks guys. From an ole neighbor and friend. Diane Johnson Aune in Nine Mile Falls Wa.
