William Frawley

Born: 26 February 1887, Burlington, Iowa, USA
Died: 3 March 1966, Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA

William Frawley was the first person to perform on film the Christmas standard 'Silver Bells' in the 1951 Bob Hope feature 'The Lemon Drop Kid'. This was then followed by a more elaborate version sung by Marilyn Maxwell and Bob Hope.

Desire (1936) as Mr. Gibson

Looking up to Gary Cooper.
