The late Stratford Johns died on Tuesday January 29th 2002 best remembered as Inspector Charlie Barlow in Z-Cars broadcast by BBC-tv from 1962-65 also he appeared in Coronation Street,The Ship That Died of Shame made by Ealing Studios,Department S,Barlow at Large,Softly Softly Task Force and Sherlock Holmes with John Cleese & Arthur Lowe in 1977.The Great icon.Terry Christie,Sunderland.
