Carole Landis

Born: 1 January 1919, Fairchild, Wisconsin, USA
Died: 5 July 1948, Pacific Palisades, California, USA
 
During World War II Carole joined Kay Francis, Mitzi Mayfair, and Martha Raye on a four-month USO tour to entertain the troops. The event was turned into a film called 'Four Jills in a Jeep (1944)' in which Carole and the other actresses played themselves.
