  1. Died, prematurely, of liver cirrhosis. Was the wife of Bonar Colleano, killed in a vehicle crash at 34.

    1. Yes a very sad story. Met her briefly in a West End club in the seventies. She seemed headed for a big career after the success of London Belongs To Me in 1948.

  2. Susan Shaw was born on Thursday August 29th 1929 in London and she was the great lovely British Actress for many years.

    She appeared in the British Movies,BBC & Independent Television shows including London Town,Holiday Camp,Time is My Enemy with the late William Franklyn,It Always Rains On Sunday alongside the late John Slater,Googie Withers & Jack Warner,My Brother's Keeper,Carry On Nurse,Waterfront,No Hiding Place,BBC Sunday Night Theatre,ITV Playhouse,Pool of London,Chain of Events,Wide Boy,The Intruder,Stolen Time,The Big Day,The Switch,The Good Die Young,London Belongs To Me,Marry Me,The Small Town Story with the famous voice of ITV's Professional Wrestling,The late Kent Walton,Train of Events & Here Comes The Huggetts.

    Sadly on Monday November 27th 1978 when she passed away at the age of 49 years and the wonderful memories of the great lovely British Actress icon is the late Susan Shaw and the legend lives on forever.
