Mae Busch

Born: 18 June 1891, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Died: 19 April 1946, San Fernando Valley, California, USA

During her childhood Mae Busch appeared with her parents in a vaudeville act called the Busch Devere Trio. In 1912 she played the lead role in a Broadway play 'Over the River' with Eddie Foy, replacing Lillian Lorraine. Mae started her film career in silent comedy shorts at Keystone Studios with Mack Sennett in 1915. She later worked at the Hal Roach Studios and appeared in 13 Laurel & Hardy films during the late silent and early sound eras.
