Agnes Moorehead

Born: 6 December 1900, Clinton, Massachusetts, USA
Died: 30 April 1974, Rochester, Minnesota, USA

Agnes Moorehead spent many years acting and singing on the radio. She eventually met Orson Welles in the late 1930's and joined his Mercury Theatre company. She took part in his famous broadcast of 'War of the Worlds' in 1938. Moorehead is now most famous for playing Endora, Elizabeth Montgomery's mother, in the television series 'Bewitched'.
