John Day could been seen in countless films from the late 1930's onwards as a thug or henchman. His early screen work was filled with bit parts and walk-ons, before being promoted to more featured roles in the 1950's.
Also acted under his birth name of John (or Johnny) Daheim.

Just enjoyed him as a plainclothes cop in the "Occupation, Citizen" episode of 87th Precinct. Very familiar face and good screen presence.
