  2. I don't know whether they planned this, but Talking Pictures TV has just played an episode of Gideon's Way from 1965 followed by the film The Small World of Sammy Lee (1963) which both feature Toni Palmer. She seemed familiar to me, and sure enough, having looked her up on IMDB she is the actress I thought she was, who plays Edi Driscoll in The Sweeney episode 'Ringer.' She's spoken very highly of in the commentary during her short segment - once as great, and three times as wonderful!
