Reginald Denny starting acting on stage at the age of 6. His father was stage actor/singer W.H. Denny and so a career in showbusiness was already in his blood. He made his film debut in the UK in 1912 and in US in 1915. A leading man in silents, he moved down the pecking order to B movies in the 1930s until the war years saw him back in major films as a supporting actor
