Anne Revere

Born: 25 June 1903, New York City, New York, USA
Died: 18 December 1990, Locust Valley, New York, USA

Anne Revere was a direct descendant of Paul Revere.  She trained for the stage and her made her Broadway debut in 1931 in 'The Great Barrington'. Her film debut cam in 1934 in Double Door.  Anne was nominated for an Oscar three times, winning for her portrayal of Elizabeth Taylor's mother in National Velvet (1944).
