Stella Adler

Stella Adler was a stage actor who appeared many times on Broadway. Stella also wrote and directed for the stage. In later life Stella began teaching 'method' acting and eventually, in 1949, started her own acting school, the Stella Adler Theatre Studio, which later became the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting and finally the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

Stella Adler's film career was limited to just three films.
